Still trying to disperse the crowd - they weren’t going, and so the water cannon is being deployed. Followed by the riot police. Uh. Aiming it uh, towards what is uh, effectively uh, a small crowd of angry young men.

The aim was - from the riot police to move the crowd away from the square. To disperse them somewhat. That has now happened. Whether the riot police will then retreat and put a cordon around the square to prevent them returning, we’ll see. Some bemusement suggested before from the people on the other side of this. But certainly tensions rising. There have been a great number of arrests in several European countries since the attacks on Tuesday. Belgium. France. Germany and Italy - we saw arrests being made as well. All related to terrorism offenses. Just today nine more people arrested in 13 raids in and around Brussels. Nine people arrested, five have since been released, four in custody. There have been terrorism related charges against several people. Obviously three died in the terrorist attack on Tuesday. Two at the airport. One at the Metro station. One disappeared. That man - you’ll be familiar with the image - the man in the white hat. Whilst there’s various speculation as to who that might be; no official confirmation of a name. But tensions rising particularly in Brussels regarded as somewhat a haven for Islamic State sympathizers. And the tracks that have been made by the people involved at the airport, the metro station and other planned terrorist activities all point back to this area - Molambique, in Brussels. Some criticism after the attacks in Paris last November where 130 people were killed that not enough was done by the Belgian authorities to crack down to bring people in for questioning. As you see - huge numbers of police moving away this huge group of protestors. The authorities had not wanted huge number of police to be involved in crowd control in public events because there are - as I mentioned, still raids going on around the city and other investigations taking place. But it has been called upon dozens and dozens of riot police today to move a group from Place De La Bourse in Brussels
